Kalia Miller, DPT

Kalia Miller, DPT

Kalia attended George Fox University for her undergraduate degree from 2010-2013. She worked for years as a therapy aide in the area and moved to snowy North Dakota to attend graduate school and obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2023. While there she became more passionate about pelvic health and manual therapy for orthopedic conditions.

Kalia grew up in the Silverton area and attended Silverton High (go Foxes!), many of her closest friends were made in the area and are one of the many reasons she is still in love with “home” today.

While in graduate school, she took courses and will continue to take courses regarding pelvic health. Her final clinical in graduate school focused on pelvic health, hypermobility, irritable bowel syndrome and endometriosis. This is an area she is passionate about and wants to continue to learn about.

Her goal as a therapist to make sure every patient she treats is heard and has an integral role in leading their care. When asked why she chose to be a therapist she says, “Every person who walks through my door has a story, I get to be a part of that story when I choose to listen and help customize their treatment. For me PT is about giving people the gift of regaining functional movement and that is the most valuable thing I could ever think to give someone.”

In her free time, she loves to hike the canyon with her family and identify deciduous trees, preserve garden goods in the summer and share a meal with the people she loves. In the winter she enjoys curling up by the fire with a book and a mug of coffee.
