Daryl Ivins, MPT

Daryl Ivins, MPT

Daryl was first introduced to Physical Therapy due to high school sports injuries although did not consider it as a possible career until his first semester at college when he took an Introduction to Sport Medicine Class. After graduating from Brigham Young University, he began his Career as a Certified Athletic Trainer in the Roseburg area and was involved in treating athletes at local high schools and middle schools, including the Doc Stewarts Legion baseball team for over 5 years. At that time he returned to school to obtain a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt College in Oakland CA.

After obtaining his degree he and his wife moved to the Salem area over 20 years ago. He has worked at Salem Hospital in their Orthopedics as well as Sports Medicine clinics and Private practice focusing on orthopedic injuries. He recently spent 5 years working in home health where he broadened his training to include more geriatric care before joining the ProMotion Team in January of 2020.

He enjoys working in the smaller, more family atmosphere that is evident in the care that is provided by the team at Promotion, as well as the close knit community of Stayton and surrounding areas where almost everyone knows, or is friends, with everyone else.
